Stress? Pain? EFT Vaporizes it Allowing Natural Healing.

EFT, also known as the Emotional Freedom Technique, sees daily use for calming turbulent and painful emotions, as well as easing tension and pain in the body. Despite the ancient origins, it’s modern in its style and engineering, simplified and streamlined as a tool to be used.

The story of EFT goes back to acupuncture. They share the same underlying theory: That of ensuring that energy conduits called meridians are clear, as this will promote physical and emotional well-being. Not only does it dispense with the needles, it’s far easier.

As mentioned earlier, meridians are pathways or channels of energy in the body. When they intersect, it’s called a chakra. There are hundreds on the body, not just the main ones you hear about. If a meridian is blocked it can impact your entire energy system.

I made mention of the fact that the person who developed EFT had a background in engineering. This is evident in the straightforward, no-nonsense process that the technique uses. If there’s a mystery problem and you can spend 2 hours testing each piece, or 30 minutes in an overhaul, which would you choose? Likewise, the method is designed to do an “overhaul” of the energy system.

As an energy healing technique, it’s pretty quick and easy. The basic formula can be learned in a few minutes and used in about a minute for one pass, although multiple passes are usually needed. The procedure looks like tapping on certain points on the face and upper body, then a few seconds of tapping on a hand, then more tapping on the face and upper body.

The method itself is pretty simple: First, you assess the pain level. Then, you state acceptance of yourself despite the problem. Then, the tapping mentioned above is used, with focus on the problem. After the first pass, the method is used again, this time specifically used on the “remaining” problem.

What’s not to like about EFT? You can use it to disarm self-sabotage, headaches both figurative and literal, let go of the old pains of mind and body. Oh, and did I mention that it’s incredibly fast and can be learned in minutes?

Dr. Maxwell Maltz was a plastic surgeon who noticed that emotional scars occur in a similar manner to physical ones: If there is tension on a wound, that tension will prevent full healing and a scar is the result. The point of EFT is to release that tension.

At the same time, this method is wonderful for dealing with physical pain. This works on multiple levels:

*A relaxed body feels less pain. Draining the tension is one of the first things that happens.

*With the body starting to un-tense, incidental damage and secondary problems arising from that tension and pain are reduced or eliminated. If you’ve ever felt an ache migrate from one place to another, you know what I’m talking about.

*Beyond all of that, I can speak from experience that in many cases, the pain just melts away. I use it whenever I get a headache beyond my control, and that fixes it right up.

With the ease and efficacy of EFT already known, people are looking for ideas to expand it. Some have developed a branch of the method to use on behalf of another. Still others are specializing in using it for one means or another.

This method of energy healing is great for people who want to get started exploring healing techniques. It’s easy to learn and very adaptable, not to mention quick. This also of course makes it ideal for people who have to handle pain with any regularity.
